Senior portraits. Mug shots. Profile pics. We are identified by our faces. You can understand my trepidation to start my textile self-portrait. Dogs are difficult but people are nearly impossible. Matching colors is tricky. I am struggling with if I should leave the shading or remove it—do I look like I have a skin complaint?
